Removing the Film Cartridge
The film rewinds automatically when it reaches the
end. When the film is fully rewound, the frame counter
shows "0" and
Q
blinks.
• You can use the CF3 Custom Function setting to
prevent the camera from automatically rewinding
when it reaches the end of the film. (-» 36)

Check that
O
is
blinking.
• If
0
is not blinking, press
the fpQ button. (-> 13)

Open the film cartridge
compartment cover.
• Press the OOPEN button
until the cover opens and
remove the film cartridge.
The visual exposure
indicator on the film
cartridge has changed to
S3 (exposed).
