Storing a Second Area Code
You can program a second local area code. This area code does not
require "1" before it when dialing. After storing this area code, the display
will show the 10 digits (3-digit area code plus 7-digit phone number) after
a Call is received from that area. Calls will be recorded in the Caller List
without "1". You cannot store a second area code unless your area code
is stored first (p. 18).
The TALK indicator light must be off and the base unit must be in
the stand-by mode before programming. Use the handset near the
base unit.

range", move closer to the
base unit and try again. If "out
of range' is still displayed, place the handset
on the base unit. Start again from step 1.
To erase the second area code
