"SNOW" OR WEAK PICTURE
This condition occurs when the signal to the receiving antenna
is too small. For the best possible réception, an outdoor antenna
should be used.
DIATHERMY
Electrically operated medical equipment such as diathermy
apparatus may produce a herringbone pattern across the picture
and, if severe, may even obliterate part of the picture. This
interférence normally is of short duration, and cannot be
removed by receiver adjustment. If severe, the noise source must
be located and corrected.
RADIO INTERFERENCE
Interférence in the form of ripples or unstable pi et u res may
resuit from neighboring receiving or transmitting equipment,
flashing néon signs, trolley wires or electrical appliances. If
receiver adjustment does not eliminate this interférence, the
noise source must be located and corrected.
SOUND BARS IN PICTURE
Misadjustment of the TV TUNIIMG control may cause "sound
bars" on the screen. The Sound bars are eliminated by properly
adjusting the TV TUNING control.
