3-3 Operation by Manual Setting
The setting data for the laser processing is configured with the display operation connected to the controller. It is also
possible to control the laser welding machine by operating the display in test lasing or run mode operation.
• For the setting details, refer to "VL-W1 series Operation Manual".
3-3-1 Operation procedure
„ From file editing to laser radiation
For test lasing
Screen mode selection
To create or modify the drawing data, select "Set" mode.
File selection
Edit the file
Turn on laser supply. (Complete in 15 sec.)
Start test lasing
Open internal shutter. (Self-opening)
Laser radiation
Save the file.
Turn off laser supply.
Turn off power.

Turn on power with key switch on controller.
Edit and overwrite the file
Select file to use in Run operation.
Start Run operation.
Lasing trigger input
ME-VLW1N-SM-1
Input TRIGGER IN (X6) on I/O terminal to start lasing.
