Reloading a Partially Exposed Film
Cartridge
Load the film in the same
way as described in
"Loading the Film
Cartridge". {-^ 16)
^The camera automatically
advances the film to the first
unexposed frame.

Approx. 16 seconds
Frame 39 exposed, winding to frame 40
Approx. 35 seconds
• If there is a TV or other device emitting strong
radio waves, or a strong magnetic field, the camera
may not be able to reload partially exposed film. If
this happens, "0" in the frame counter and 0 on
the LCD panel blinks as a warning. In such a case,
remove the partially exposed film cartridge. Load a
new, unexposed film cartridge instead, The new
film cartridge will load normally
• Be careful not to load a partially exposed film
cartridge in a camera that does not support mid¬
roll film change (such as the Canon ELPH/IXUS).

The camera will set the visual exposure indicator tol
"Exposed" and will not load the film. This means

you will not be able to use the remaining
[
unexposed part of the film.
