Shutter Operation Adjustment
Test point:
TP57
Test equipment: Oscilloscope
Adjusting point: SHUTTER SW, SHUTTER VR

Shoot the gray scale so that white level shows 0.7V at
TPS7.
Set the SHUTTER SW to 1/100 and make sure the
white level shows 0.56V at TP57.
. Turn off the SHUTTER SW.
. Switch the SHUTTER VR on the rear panel from
1/125 through 1/1000 successively, and make sure the
white level will decrease according to the switching.
Also make sure that no abnormality occurs during
above operations.
. Set the SHUTTER SW to OFF and the SHUTTER VR
to 1/125.

External Sync Check
Test point:
VIDEO OUT
Test equipment: Oscilloscope, monitor
Adjusting point: H phase VR (RV01)
1. Feed an external sync signal (VBS or BBS)
2. Check the external sync signal and the camera VIDEO
output are synchronized. If not, turn RVO1 to adjust
SYNC position.
3. Check scope display shows no abnormality.

30m Cable Picture Quality Check
Test point:
TPS7
Test equipment: Oscilloscope, monitor
Adjusting point: RV32
1. Connect a 30m cable and make sure no abnormality
occurs on picture quality. Use the gray scale and the
color bar. (In this case also make sure the waveform
does not show any abnormality.)
2. Shoot excessively high incidence light with the 30m
cable connected and make sure there is no vertical
stripes or no discoloring occur at the light incidence
part. If not, adjust RV32 to obtain the best picture
quality.

4. Object: Fluorescent lamp (about 20000 lux)
5. Shoot the object so that it is brought at upper half of
the screen, and make sure undesirable coloring due to
excessive incident light at the upper half and the
vertical stripes at lower half of the screen.
