The following diagram shows a power supply connection example when no power distribution
units are used.

Input Power Supply Lines

It is recommended to use multiple power supply facilities in the building for power supply redun-
dancy, or divide the AC input system for the ETERNUS AB/HB into a dual system (line 0 and line 1).
Because the power supply of the ETERNUS AB/HB is configured redundantly, business can continue
even if one of the power supply lines fails. However, a single power supply facility configuration is
also allowed for the entire system optimization (including the server). When selecting a single con-
figuration, take into consideration the availability of the system.
