1) Remove the DC power unit < TP-009 > from the set.
2) Open the lid of the battery case of the < TP-009 >.
3) Put the dry batteries into the attached battery cylinders and place them in
the battery case. Do not confuse (+) and (—) when installing batteries.
4) Close the lid of the battery case and install the < TP-009 > in the set.
NOTE:
Dry batteries are optional.
6x 1.5V "C" type dry batteries are used.
When
dry batteries are exhausted, the picture becomes dark and smaller.
In this case, take out dry batteries and renew all of them.
When
the set is not used for a long period of time or used with power
sources
other than the dry batteries, take out dry batteries
from the
<TP-009 > to prevent corrosion resulting from fluid leakage of dry bat-
teries.
| TO USE 12 VOLT BATTERY
install the DC power unit < TP-009 > in the set and connect the DC cord to
the power socket of the < TP-009 >.
The cord indicated
(G)_
is connected the positive (+) battery terminal and
indicated
'S) is connected the negative (—) battery terminal.

BATTERY UNIT
Install the optional rechargeable battery unit < TP-007 > in the set.
Refer to the Instruction manual of the rechargeable bettery unit < TP-007 >.
