After removing screws, make sure to store them in a safe place and to identify
them with the corresponding parts.
After you have replaced an FRU, make sure the computer is functioning properly
by performing the appropriate test on the FRU you have fixed or replaced.

Cables and Connectors

The Infinia™ uses various types of cables and connectors for internal operation. Infinia™
cables and connectors include:
Power cables
Data cables
Audio cables
Switch and LED cables
Normal pin and latch connectors
Connecting and Disconnecting Power Cables
Power cables are groups of cables that connect the power supply to various components and
to the system board. These cables use normal pin connectors (except for the power cable to
the system board, which uses a latch connector) that are keyed, meaning that they can only be
connected to a socket one way. See Figure 4-2.
CAUTION:
careful not to touch the system board's regulator, which may be hot if the
computer has been running.
