5.3 Connecting a PE Cable
Context
It is recommended that the PE cable of the solar inverter be connected to a
nearby ground point. Connect the PE points of all solar inverters in the same array
to ensure equipotential connections to PE cables. Low-voltage solar inverters need
to be grounded in type C mode.
Procedure
Step 1 Crimp the OT terminal.
● Pay attention not to scratch the core wire when stripping a cable.
● The cavity formed after the conductor crimp strip of the OT terminal is crimped
● Wrap the wire crimping area with a heat shrinkable tube or PVC insulation
● When using a heat gun, protect the solar inverter from being scorched.
