13. Charging the battery
The battery is charged inside the device. To do this, connect the included power supply unit to the integrated charging
connector on the METPOINT
Operating the METPOINT® CID with an external plug-in power supply unit is only permitted in
ambient temperatures ranging from -5 °C (+14 °F) to +40 °C (+104 °F).

The METPOINT
CID will check the battery's state of charge and will start charging it automatically if necessary.

To lengthen the service life of the Li-ion battery, the device will be automatically switched off after reaching a voltage of
approx. 6.4 V.
