Step4-0:Zone definitions

3.4.1
Four basbars are structured in the single line diagram (Figure 3-1), so a protection zone
(among ZoneA to ZoneF) has to be selected for Busbar-W1, W2, E1, and E4. There is no rule to
select a zone. For an example, four zones are selected for busbars: Busbar-W1=ZoneA, Busbar-
W2=ZoneB, Busbar-E1=ZoneC, Busbar-E2=ZoneD.

Step4-1:Feeder definitions

3.4.2
CH1, assigned on West Feeder, is ready to protect ZoneA and ZoneB. Table 3.4-1
also shows that the other settings items are given depending on its feeder
conditions.
CH7, assigned on East Feeder, is ready to protect ZoneC and ZoneD. The other
setting items are also set.
