    Description The SIMATIC RF360M and RF660M mobile readers consist of a SIMATIC RF160B base device and a head module. Depending on the head module used, the reader can be operated in the HF (RF360H: SIMATIC RF200 and RF300) or in the UHF frequency range (RF660H: SIMATIC RF600).

    Commissioning Commissioning (hardware) Before the first commissioning of the mobile reader, make sure that the battery inserted in the reader in the factory is fully charged. You can charge the battery by placing the reader in the charging/docking station. To do this, connect the charging/docking station to the power supply using the power supply unit provided and insert the reader in the charging/docking station.
