How to use
(see fig. A)
Place the neck strap around your neck,
then wear the earpiece marked R in your
right ear and the one marked L in your
left ear. The neck strap prevents the
Earphones from dropping.

The left and right connectors
will uncouple for safety if
excessive pressure is applied.

When you remove the Earphones
to wear around your neck, slide
the cord adjuster upward to a
secure, comfortable fit.

Adjust the length of the cord by
holding the latch (avoid pulling
strongly on the cord itself), and
gradually slide the cord in either
direction (as shown by the arrow).

You can conveniently remove
the tie clip (Lock mechanism)
when connecting the
MDR-NX1 to a memory audio
player's tie point.

You can adjust the length of the
cord if you remove the tie clip.
How to use the
holder (See fig. B)
Store the housing part. It prevents the cord
from becoming tangled if you store the
Earphones connected to a device.
How to install the
earbuds correctly
(See fig. C)
If the earbuds do not fit your ears correctly,
low-bass sound may not be heard. To enjoy
better sound quality, adjust the earbuds
position to sit on your ears comfortably or
push them into the inside of your ears so
that they fit your ears snugly. If the earbuds
do not fit your ears, try ones of other size.
Precautions
• Do not allow small children to use this
product.
• Do not use this product in a place
where it may be snagged, such as near
a shredder, or machine facility, etc.
• The left and right connectors will
uncouple for safety if excessive
pressure is applied. To prevent a
connected device from falling, avoid
excessive movement. Do not use this
product with a device other than
compact-size memory audio players.
Sony is not liable for damage to
connected device.
• Listening with Earphones at high volume
may affect your hearing. For traffic
safety, do not use while driving or
cycling.
• Since the neck strap is made from
natural material, the color may fade.
Also, the pattern and color of the
leather may vary.
• Do not use alcohol, benzene, or thinner,
as the neck strap may be damaged.
• Wipe the neck strap with a dry towel if it
becomes wet, otherwise it may discolor.
• If the MDR-NX1 becomes wet, wipe it
with a dry towel before using.
• Clean the earbuds by hand-washing
with a mild detergent solution. Remove
the earbuds when you clean them. After
cleaning, dry the earpieces well before
use.
• The earbuds may deteriorate due to
long-term storage or use.
• Do not strain the cord when adjusting
the length, as it may be damaged.
• Please keep your earphones clean at all
times especially inside the rubber ear
piece. (see fig. D)
If any dust or ear wax inside the ear
piece, you may experience some
listening difficulties.

如果耳機頭不能正確貼合您的耳朵，則
可能無法聽到低音量低音。若要欣賞到
較好的音質，請調整耳機頭位置以便舒
適佩戴在耳朵內，或將耳機頭按入耳
朵，使耳機頭緊貼耳朵。如果耳機頭不
適合您的耳朵，請嘗試使用其他尺寸的
耳機頭。
注意事項
• 切勿讓小孩使用本產品。
• 切勿在可能受到阻礙的地方使用本
產品，如粉碎機或機械設備等。
• 如果受到過大的壓力，左右連接器
將會出於安全而脫離。為防止所連
接的裝置掉落，請避免過大的動
作。切勿將本產品與其他非便攜式
記憶體式音樂播放器配合使用。
Sony對所連接裝置的損壞不承擔責
任。
• 戴著耳機用很高的音量收聽可能會
影響您的聽力。為了交通安全，切
勿在駕車或騎車時使用耳機。
• 由於頸繩是採用天然材料製造，可
能會褪色。另外，樣式和皮革顏色

• 耳機頭可能因長期存放或使用而損
壞。
• 調節導線長度時切勿拉緊導線，否
則可能損壞導線。
• 請隨時保持耳機的清潔，尤其是橡
膠耳塞的內部（請參閱圖D）。
如果耳機有灰塵或耳垢，您可能會
無法順利聆聽音樂。
