5.3 Condensation on the machine

In the cold winter morning, when a machine is carried into the installation site,
a large numbers of water drops from the machine may be found.
It is not because of raining nor squirting water on the machine.
When coming into the warm room or a car from the cold place, the glasses may be fogged.
This is the similar phenomenon and called "condensation".
The problems caused by condensation
Rust (on the base, the frame, the cover, screws and other parts where the anti-rust treatment is
not properly done)
→ It negatively affects the appearance, the function, the life expectancy of the machine, and also
results in bad electrical contact.
Defect in the electrical system (e.g. Short circuit on the circuit board or at the connection part due
to penetration of the water).
Caution:
If the machine is connected to the power source with the condensation on the body, the electric portion
breaks. NEVER TURN ON the machine until it is confirmed that no condensation is on the machine.

5.3.1 The formation process of condensation on the machine

The relation between the temperature and the humidity
The figure below shows how the condensation is formed after a cold machine is carried into the
climate-controlled factory (Temperature 20 deg C, Humidity 60%).
When the amount of saturated vapor in the atmosphere per unit exceeds 100%, condensation occurs.
