connection procedure.
This manual also contains precautions for the safe use of the unit.
Setup Guide (this manual)
Before setting up the units
Do the following operations before setting up the units.
Insert batteries into the remote control
For "GIGA JUKE" Music Server
Slide and remove the battery
compartment lid.
Insert two R6 (size AA) batteries
( end first) matching the
polarities.
When the remote control is no longer
able to operate the unit, replace both
For "GIGA JUKE" Wireless Player
batteries with new ones.
Prepare the Wireless Station
Attach the stand (supplied) to the
wireless station.
Operation
mode
switch
The operation mode switch is factory set to
"AUTO".
Tip
How to detach the speaker cords from the speaker connectors
If you want to use a different set of speaker cords, you can remove the cords from the
speaker connectors.
You can use any commercially available speaker cords of gauge AWG #18 - AWG #24.
Before attaching a new speaker cord, strip off 10 mm of its insulation and twist the bare
wires.
Push the tab on the speaker connector in the
direction of the arrow and pull out the speaker cord.

Connecting the speakers and antennas
For the UK model

Attach the speaker pads (supplied) to the
bottom corners of the speakers to stabilize the
speakers and to prevent them from slipping.
Connect the speaker cords to the speakers and the unit.
On the speakers
Insert the red-line end to the + terminal.
Connect the AM loop antenna.
Connect the FM wire antenna.
On the unit
Connect the DAB antenna (for the UK model only).

WARNING
DO NOT plug the power cord into a wall outlet until
the following steps to are completed.
On the unit
Connect the speaker cords to the speakers.
Make sure the metal leads (not the part covered with vinyl insulation) are securely inserted.
Connect the speaker cords to the unit.
Make sure the connectors at the end of the speaker cords are correctly aligned with the projections
in the SPEAKER terminals on the unit, and then insert the connectors into the terminals.
Make sure that the speaker cords are firmly connected to the +/– terminals on the speakers and to
the SPEAKER terminals on the unit.
On the unit
To ensure good reception, keep the antenna away from the unit or any other nearby metal or
electrical devices (such as AV equipment).
When using an external antenna
When using the unit in an area with poor reception, connect an external antenna with a

commercially available 75 coaxial cable.

With a commercially available DAB external antenna, you can enjoy more robust DAB reception. It
is recommended that you use the supplied DAB wire antenna in areas with strong reception only.
75 coaxial cable with an F male type connector will be needed to install a DAB external antenna.
