The second line in the file is the element that was polled. The line has a time and date
stamp. This stamp is when the ECR was actually pre-polled. This stamp can be different
than the header stamp (line 1). If the software finished pre-poll and the session ended
abruptly, the next time that you poll (possibly a day later) you will read the older data
sitting in the prepoll area.

Identifier. This is usually the report type, as in line 2.
However, for reports such as clerks, groups by time period,
etc, this will be the element of the report. Example:
Employee#1, Employee#2.
Balance of the line is column headers for count and totals.
Line identifier for Count and totals.
Column 1 count ( if PLU, then Waste)
Column 2 total ( if PLU, then Promo)
All column totals. PLU by price levels use all these
columns. Other reports do not.
