MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE
11. After cleaning the air conditioner condenser, close and in-
stall it with bolts (A) (3 places).
Tightening torque: 59 to 74 Nm {6.0 to 7.5 kgm}
METHOD FOR CLEANING AIR CONDITIONER FRESH/RECIRC FILTERS
When using compressed air, there is a danger that dirt may scatter and cause personal injury. Always
wear protective equipment such as protective eyeglasses and dust mask.
NOTICE
The cleaning interval of 500 hours is a rough standard. Clean at shorter intervals in dusty jobsites.
REMARK
If the element becomes clogged, the air flow will be reduced, and there will be a rumbling sound from the air
conditioner unit.
METHOD FOR CLEANING RECIRCULATION AIR FILTER
1.
Remove the wing bolts (1) from the inspection window at
the bottom rear left inside the operator's cab.
2.
Take out the recirculation air filter.
3.
Clean the filter with compressed dry air.
Blow compressed air 0.2 MPa {2.1 kg/cm
of the filter along the pleats.
If the filter is clogged too much to clean or oil sticks to the
filter or the filter gets dirty heavily, replace it with new one.
Replacement of it with the new one once in a year is rec-
ommended for usual usage.
If the filter is damaged or deformed, replace it with the new one.
REMARK
•
The recirculation air filter must be installed in the correct direction.
•
Install the filter so that protrusion (A) of filter (2) matches the groove of holder (3).
4.
Install the recirculation air filter.
METHOD FOR CLEANING FRESH AIR FILTER
1.
Unlock the cover (4) at the rear left of the operator's cab with the starting switch key.
