    English - Always check shaving heads (caps and cutters) before using the product. Do not use the product if cutters or caps are damaged, as injury may occur. - Always attach power cord to product first, then to power outlet. - Plug power cord directly into power outlet.

    11 Small plug 12 Travel case Introduction Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to Philips Norelco! To fully benefit from the support that Philips Norelco offers, register your product at www.philips.com/register. The display Note: Before you use the shaver for the first time, remove the protective foil from the display.
  • Page 10 English Battery fully charged When the battery is fully charged, all lights of the battery charge indicator light up white continuously. Note: This product can only be used without a cord. When you press the on/off button during or after charging, you hear a sound to indicate that the shaver is still connected to the wall socket.
  • Page 11 English Travel lock When you are going to travel, you can lock the shaver to prevent it from accidentally turning Activating the travel lock 1 Press the on/off button for 3 seconds to use the travel lock mode. 3 sec. When the travel lock is activated, the shaver produces a sound and the travel lock symbol flashes.
  • Page 12 English The shaver is equipped with a replacement reminder, which reminds you to replace the shaving heads. The shaving unit symbol lights up white continuously, the arrows flash white, and the shaver beeps to indicate that you have to replace the shaving heads. Note: After replacing the shaving heads, you can reset the replacement reminder by pressing the on/off button for 7 seconds.

    English Charging - Charging or using the product at temperatures below 40 °F (4.5 °C) or higher than 95 °F (35 °C) adversely affects the lifespan of the battery. - Do not charge the shaver in a pouch or travel case. - The power plug transforms 100-240V AC to less than 24V DC.

    - 21 Day Trial and Conversion Process. It is a fact that your skin and beard need time to adjust to a new grooming system. - Use your new shaver exclusively for 3 weeks to fully enjoy the closeness of a Philips Norelco shave.

    Philips Norelco shaving system. - If you are still not convinced after 21 days, Philips Norelco will refund you the full purchase price as long as the request is received within 45 days of purchase.
  • Page 16 English 2 Move the shaver in circular movements over your skin to catch hair growing in all directions. 3 Stretch your skin with your free hand so blades can lift and cut hair. Gently press shaver to skin so the floating heads can follow the contours of your face.
  • Page 17 English 3 Turn on the shaver. 4 Rinse the shaving unit under the tap to ensure that the shaving unit glides smoothly over your skin. 5 Move the shaving heads over your skin in circular movements to catch all hairs growing in different directions.

    English 3 Insert the lug of the attachment into the slot in the top of the shaver. Then press down the attachment to attach it to the shaver (‘click’). Using the precision trimmer attachment You can use the trimmer to groom your beard, sideburns and moustache.
  • Page 19 English Do not touch shaving heads with hard objects as this may dent or damage the precision-made slotted shaving head. Do not use abrasives, scourers or aggressive liquids such as gasoline or acetone to clean the shaver. Cleaning the shaver Clean the shaver after every use for optimal performance.
  • Page 20 English 4 Rinse the hair chamber and shaving head holder with warm water. 5 Carefully shake off excess water and let the shaving head holder air-dry completely. Never dry the shaving unit with a towel or tissue, as this may damage the shaving heads.
  • Page 21 English 4 Turn the retaining ring counterclockwise and lift it off the shaving head. Repeat this process for the other retaining rings. Place them aside in a safe place. 5 Remove the shaving heads from the shaving head holder. Each shaving head consists of a cutter and guard.

    English 11 Place the arrows on the ring in line with the projections in the shaving head holder. Turn the ring clockwise until it clicks to indicate that the ring is fixed. Hold the shaving head holder in your hand when you reinsert the shaving heads and reattach the retaining rings.
