Insert a small flathead screwdriver between the
golden color ring and the appliance. Pry loose
the top part off the appliance.

Carefully pull the top part with the battery
holder out of the housing.

Remove the rechargeable battery from the
battery holder, and dispose of it at an official
collection point for batteries.
