Indoor un t nstallat on
3. Use sc ssors to cut down the length of the nsulat ng sleeve to reveal about 15cm (6 n) of the
refr gerant p p ng. Th s serves two purposes:
To fac l tate the Refr gerant P p ng Connect on process
To fac l tate Gas Leak Checks and enable you to check for dents
4. If ex st ng connect ve p p ng s already embedded n the wall, proceed d rectly to the Connect
Dra n Hose step. If there s no embedded p p ng, connect the ndoor un t's refr gerant p p ng to
the connect ve p p ng that w ll jo n the ndoor and outdoor un ts. Refer to the Refr gerant P p ng
Connect on sect on of th s manual for deta led nstruct ons.
5. Based on the pos t on of the wall hole relat ve to the mount ng plate, determ ne the necessary
angle of your p p ng.
6. Gr p the refr gerant p p ng at the base of the bend.
7. Slowly, w th even pressure, bend the p p ng towards the hole. Do not dent or damage the p p ng
dur ng the process.
