Installation
When installing the expansion valve, the following limitations and restrictions need to be observed:
● Wires must not be installed externally. Cable protection such as conduit is required.
● Do not detach connector.
● The distance from AHU heat exchanger must not exceed 6 m.
● Pipe reducers must be installed in the field where applicable.
For example, for 10HP ECOi systems, piping size to outdoor unit is Ø 9.52 mm
(instead of Ø 15.88 mm*).
● Vertical inclination of expansion valve must be less than ±15°.
● The coil wire must be inserted drooped in the AHU body with the drooping wire being
close to the AHU Kit.

Important
If there are multiple heat exchangers in one ECOi system, an individual expansion valve must be
installed for each heat exchanger.
