Inserting the Battery
An alkaline battery is recommended for use with this player.
1. Open the cover of the battery compartment.
2. Insert a 1.5V (size AA) alkaline battery. Pay close attention to the
proper polarities (+ and -). Inserting the battery the wrong way
may result in damage to electronic components and the player
will not work. Note: You may use any 1.5V AA size battery, but
alkaline batteries tend to last longer. You can also use a
rechargeable AA size 1.2V Ni-Ca or Ni-MH battery.
