Removing a microSD memory card
Remove back cover and battery pack
• To remove microSD memory card with the product turned
on, on the home screen, [Apps] →[Settings] → [Storage]
→ [Unmount SD card] → [OK] and confirm on the status
bar.
Pull the microSD memory card straight out
◎ If you try to remove the microSD memory card before unmouting,
it may cause malfunction or data loss.
◎ The microSD memory card may be warm after a long time use. It
is normal.
F ormatting a microSD memory card
Formatting a microSD memory card erases all of the data
currently stored on it.
On the home screen, [Apps] → [Settings] →
[Storage]
[Format SD card]
[Format SD card] → [Delete all]
When lock screen appears, authenticate and tap "Delete all".
Using Samsung Kies
You can synchronize data such as contacts, music, still
pictures, videos with the product or update software of the
product using Samsung Kies.
• Download Samsung Kies from the Samsung web site and
install to your PC. For details, visit the web site.
Activate Samsung Kies on a PC
Connect the product and the PC with
microUSB connection cable (sample)
