Changing phonebook numbers
To change numbers in the phonebook,
proceed as follows:
Lift the handset
Press the PHONEBOOK key
Use the ARROW keys or the numeric
or
keypad (see Consulting the
phonebook on page 9) to select the

entry to be changed
Press the MENU key
Use the ARROW keys to select the
CHANGE NUMBER option
Press the SELECT key
Enter the new phone number to be
:
stored
Press the SELECT key
Password
The key lock function is protected by a 4-
digit password. The default password is
1234
and
can
password entry, a hyphen ("-") will be
displayed for each of the digits entered.
You can use the ARROW key
delete the last digit.
Changing the password
Lift the handset
Press the MENU key
Use the ARROW keys to select LOCK
OPTIONS
Press the SELECT key
: Enter the password (4 digits)
Press the SELECT key
Use the ARROW keys to select the
CHANGE PASSWORD option
Press the SELECT key
: Enter the new password (4 digits)
Press the SELECT key
: Repeat the new password (4 digits)
Press the SELECT key
Replace the handset
If the entered password does not match the
programmed password, the menu will
return to LOCK OPTIONS. If the password
was repeated incorrectly, the menu will
return to the CHANGE PASSWORD option.
