For further details, refer to the section about Aperio setup in this document.
The AP Controller should be provided with power in the range of: 12V – 24V
DC. The AP Power Supply must be protected by a fuse (2A).
An Audit Trail Message will be produced if the voltage level drops below 10.5V
or goes above 26.5V.
Absolute maximum power ratings are: 9.5V – 29.5V DC.
The Reader Power Supply outputs are protected by a thermal fuse. In the
event of a short-circuit the fuse will trip. The fuse will automatically reset in
about 30 seconds if the fault has cleared.
To set the IP Network Settings of the AP Controller back to its default values, hold
the Factory Reset Button down for 10 seconds during standard operation. (See
image in section Updating the AP Controller with Micro SD Card [➙ 25]).
