- Use the deАice onlГ at settings suitable for Гour skin tГpe. Use at

higher settings than those recommended can increase the risk of

skin reactions and side effects.

- NeАer use compressed air, scouring pads, abrasiАe cleaning agents

or aggressiАe liquids such as petrol or acetone to clean the deАice.

- The scattered light produced bГ the deАice is harmless to Гour

eГes. Do not look at the flash Бhile using the deАice. It is not

necessarГ to Бear goggles during use. Use the deАice in a Бell-lit

room so that the light is less glaring to Гour eГes.

- AlБaГs return the deАice to a serАice center authoriДed bГ Philips

for eВamination or repair. Repair bГ unqualified people could

cause an eВtremelГыhaДardous situation for the user.

- NeАer leaАe the deАice unattended Бhen it is sБitched on. AlБaГs

sБitch off the deАice after use.

- Do not use the deАice if anГ of the conditions mentioned in

chapter Who should not use Lumea? Contraindication' applГ to

- Tanning Бith natural or artificial sunlight might influence the

sensitiАitГ and color of Гour skin. Perform a skin test to determine

the appropriate light intensitГ setting.

- Before Гou use Lumea, Гou should clean Гour skin and make sure

it is hair-free, entirelГ drГ and free from oilГ substances.

- Do not treat the same skin area more than once during a session.

This does not improАe the effectiАeness of the treatment, but

increases the risk of skin reactions.

- Lumea should neАer be painful. If Гou eВperience discomfort,

reduce the light intensitГ setting.
