Install Windows NT server 4.0 on node2
1.
Put at least one HDD on node 2.
2.
Don't power off node 1.
3.
Power on node2 and begin to install Windows NT server 4.0 by using the
software "MS Windows NT server 4.0, Enterprise Edition".
4.
Format the system drive to NTFS.
5.
Join the cluster domain of node 1, and then configure this node as BDC
(Backup Domain Controller).
6.
Install & configure TCP/IP protocol.
7.
You must configure two LAN Cards.
a)
Intel 82557 Chip-Based LAN Adapter (for Private Network)
For example:
IP address
: 192. 0. 0. 2
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
b)
Add-on LAN card (for Public Network)
For example:
IP address
: 192. 10. 10. 2
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
