Issue 01 (2020-10-20)
In some countries, the grid is not allowed to charge batteries. Therefore, this
mode cannot be used.
If the charge time is set but the discharge time is not set, in the charge time
segment, the grid can charge the batteries. In other time segments, the
batteries work in self-consumption mode. When the PV power is insufficient,
the batteries can supply power to loads.
If both the charge time and discharge time are set, the grid charges batteries
during the charge time and supplies power to loads during the discharge
time. In other time segments that are not set, the batteries do not discharge,
and the PV modules and grid supply power to loads. (In gird-tied and off-grid
mode, if the grid is powered off, the batteries can discharge at any time.)
Description
● Charge: When the generated PV energy
is greater than the loads, excess PV
energy is used to charge the batteries.
After the maximum charge power is
reached or the batteries are fully
charged, the excess PV energy is fed to
the grid.
● Fed to grid: When the generated PV
energy is greater than the loads, the
excess PV energy is preferentially fed to
the grid rather than used for battery
charging. This setting is applicable to the
scenario where the FIT is higher than the
electricity price. Batteries are used only
for backup power.
Indicates the maximum charge power
allowed by the grid. The value is
determined by the local grid company. If
there is no requirement, the value is the
maximum charge power of the ESS by
default.
