1 TC (time code) selector
Determines whether the time code displayed in the
time counter display on the lower control panel is LTC
or VITC. When this switch is set to AUTO, the time
counter display shows LTC when the tape speed
exceeds ±1/2 times normal speed, but VITC when the
speed is within ±1/2 times normal speed.
This switch is factory set to LTC.
Lift the lower control panel up into its horizontal position to access the
system set-up panel.

2 DF/NDF switch

5 SET UP SELECT switch
2 DF/NDF (drop-frame/non-drop-frame) switch
(for DVW-522 only)
Selects CTL counter advance in drop-frame mode or
non-drop-frame mode.
NDF: Non-drop-frame mode.
DF: Drop-frame mode.
This switch is factory set to DF.
