A light resistance will be felt, caused by the O rings. This is to ensure
a good seal. If a resistance is not felt when pushing the filter in re-
place the O rings.
Only use genuine original Miele O rings as these are the only ones
suitable for use in your machine. The tubular filter must not be used
without these O-rings.
D-profile tube: The locking cap must engage in position on both
sides.
Round tube: 2. Turn the locking cap clockwise as far as it will go.
Cleaning the tubular filter
Clean the tubular filter at least once a week to ensure it main-
tains the correct filtration efficiency.
Miele recommends that you clean the tubular filter after every 10
programme cycles.

Remove the tubular filter.
