Things You Should Know

Things You Should Know
To ensure the best performance possible for the Philips
Wireless Phone Jack for Voice/Data (PX-211v) and Data Only
(PX-211d), Philips is providing clarification for the following
items:
Power Outages**†: During a power outage, only the
phone/device plugged into the base unit will operate. If it is a
cordless phone that requires A/C power, it will not function at
all. It is also a good idea to unplug your equipment during a
power outage.
Two-Line Phone Operations: If two lines are being used,
only one line can operate through the Philips Wireless Phone
Jack for Voice/Data (PX-211v) and Data Only (PX- 211d).A base
unit and extension unit connection will only operate the phone
line to which the base is connected.
Ground Fault Circuits: If possible, avoid using GFCI-protect-
ed outlets (e.g. bathrooms, outdoor use, etc.). They reduce sig-
nal strength.
