Prepare the remote

Turn on this unit for the first time, you need to follow these steps.

Press [ ].

Turn the TV on. Select the input to
which the unit is connected.
Refer to the table on page 15 in the
User Manual.
"Initial Setup" will automatically appear.

Using [K / L], select your desired
language On Screen menu. Then press
[OK] to set language.
"Channel Preset" will automatically

Complete Initial Setup

Press [OK] to start Channel Preset.
The unit will start getting channels
available in your area.
After channel setting is finished, "Clock
Setting" will appear. Then press [OK].

Proceed to the step 3 of "Manual Clock Setting" on page 26
in the User Manual.

Remove the Antenna or Cable TV signal from your TV.

Connect it to the ANT-IN jack at the rear of the
Recorder.

Connect the supplied RF coaxial cable to the ANT-OUT
or
jack on the Recorder and to your TV's ANTENNA IN
or RF INPUT jack.

Connect the Recorder's power cord to a power outlet.
Helpful Hint:
If your TV has different connectors, refer to the TV manual
for connection options. Also refer to the Recorder's owner's
manual, which details other TV connection possibilities.
