Divide the hair into locks.

Take a lock of hair and wind it round the brush. Make sure the
end of the lock is wound in the required direction (fig. 4).

Do not wind too much hair around the brush at a time.

The thinner the lock of hair, the tighter the curl will be.

Do not wind a lock of hair more than twice round the brush.

Make sure the lock of hair is in contact with the barrel of the brush.
If you wind the hair at right angles to the scalp, you will give your
hair optimum lift and volume.
Switch the appliance on by selecting setting ~ or 6.

Keep the brush in your hair until the hair is warm to the touch.

Switch the appliance off and remove the brush from your hair by
pushing and turning the bristle retraction knob in the direction of
the arrows (fig. 5).
As soon as the hair feels dry, you can fix your style by means of
the cool airflow. Set the side to setting 6 (blue) to cool down
and fix the curls (fig. 6).

If you have not used the cool airflow, let the curls cool down
before combing, brushing or finger-combing the hair to finish your
style (fig. 7).
Making waves in long hair

Take the ends of a lock of hair and wind them round the
retractable bristle brush in the desired direction.
Switch the appliance on by selecting setting ~ or 6.

As soon as the hair is warm to the touch, switch the appliance off
and carefully remove the brush from your hair by pushing and
turning the bristle retraction knob.
You can finish off by directing a cool airflow at the hair.

Let the waves cool down before combing, brushing or finger-
combing the hair to finish your style (fig. 8).
