24. System ID (Service ID) LED

What's the purpose of System ID (Service ID) LED?
ANSWER: When servicing or performing maintenance tasks on Altos T350 F2, press the System
ID button on the front panel to turn on System ID LED on the front and rear panels.
The System ID LED can be used to locate a particular Altos T350 F2 system within a rack.
2.
In addition to press the System ID button to turn on the System ID LED, is there any software
solution to do the same thing?
ANSWER: Yes. You can turn on the system ID LED with Smart Console or Smart Server Manager.
Smart Console

Please access Smart Console with web browser.

Please click Remote Control
c.
Please select Virtual Front Panel then click Chassis ID.

Smart Server Manager:
a.
Please access Smart Server Manager with web browser.
b.
Please click Devices -> Servers -> <your server> -> Tools.
c.
Please select command drop-down list and select On.
d.
Click the button of Issue Commands. After that, there is a pop-out message to indicate
System ID LED is turned on successfully
