10. Pressure Manifold

10.1
Replacing the valve block of the pres-
sure manifold
1. Perform hose drain.
2. Switch off the ACS unit.
3. Remove the top panel and the front panel (see chap-
ter 6.1, 6.2).
4. Open the service hatch on the right panel.
5. Close the red and blue knobs on the Y-valve of the
refrigerant cylinder.
6. Undo all the electrical connections to solenoids and
the pressure switch.
7. Undo the hoses from the fresh oil and UV dye scales
to the manifold.
8. Undo all the screws holding the valve block to the
base of the manifold.
9. Remove the valve block carefully.

Replace all the O-rings on the base of the manifold.
10. Observe the locating stud on the bottom block
of the manifold. Place the new valve block on the
bottom block so that the locating stud mates with
the bore on the valve block. Fasten the valve block
firmly.
11. Complete the fresh oil and UV dye hose connec-
tions to the manifold.
12. Complete all the electrical connections.
13. Close the top and front panel.

Warning - Danger of frostbite!
During repair work on the ACS 751/651
refrigerant in liquid or gaseous form can
escape and cause frostbite to the body.
Close valves on refrigerant cylinder.
Wear protective goggles.
Wear protective gloves.
1. Perform hose drain.
2. Switch off the ACS 751/651.
3. Disconnect the power cable from the mains.
4. Disconnect the power cable from the power socket
of the ACS 751/651.
5. Open the rear panel (Chap. 6.3).
Warning - Danger of burns!
Hot surfaces on the valve block, vacuum
pump and condenser can cause severe
burns to the hands.
Allow valve block, vacuum pump and
condenser to cool down before repair.
Wear protective gloves.
6. Close the red and blue knobs on the cylinder.
7. Loosen and disconnect the hose fitting (Fig. 28, Pos. 3)
at the Y-valve of the cylinder carefully.

8. Disconnect the hose fitting (Fig. 29, Pos. 1, 2) at the
manifold.
