Introduction

Features

The Sony UP-D72XRS Digital Imager is a thermal
printer designed to reproduce images transferred from
the computer via the high-speed interface on a thermal
paper.
You can print out image data with high picture quality,
in high resolution (300dpi) and 512 shades of gray color
at high speed (about 40 seconds).

Front

A Printer window display (10, 12, 13, 14, 17)
Displays status messages. When setting the print
quantity, the PRINT QTY (print quantity setting)
menu is displayed. For menu-based operations, the
GRAPHICS (printout adjust) menu, MARGIN
PRINT (margin print setting) menu or MIRROR
menu is displayed here.
Also, you can clean the thermal head following the
instruction message displayed here.
If an error occurs, a corresponding error message is
displayed.
B ALARM indicator (20)
Lights in orange when the print paper has been used
up, the paper jams, or another problem occurs.
C PRINT QTY (print quantity setting) button (12)
Press this button to display or close the print
quantity setting menu in the printer window
display.
D MENU button (13, 14, 17)
Press this button to display or close the
GRAPHICS, MARGIN PRINT or MIRROR menu.
Also, press this button when cleaning the thermal
head.
