Adjust the calibrator to apply the high (100%) value of the signal range.
Wait for the value in Current Value to stabilize.
Verify that Current Value displays a value equal or close to the target range high (100%)
value.

If all values are correct, calibrate the next AI or click Close to exit the Calibration screen.
When calibration for all required AIs successfully completes, remove power from the
controller, remove the calibrator, and reconnect the external device.
If there are errors, proceed to section
11.5.6

Repeat calibration in case of errors

If the displayed input values are not valid or do not stabilize, the calibration might not be correct. In
Entry mode, the calibrated AI indicates it has been Field calibrated regardless of whether the
calibration was successful or not. This procedure sets the AI calibration status back to Factory as
required before repeating the calibration procedures.
To set the AI before repeating the calibration:
Click Close to exit calibration.
Click the Entry icon on the PCCU toolbar.
Click I/O Interface on the navigation tree. The Analog Inputs tab displays. The calibrated
AI displays Field in the calibration column.
Select Factory from the Calibration drop-down list for the appropriate AI.
