    Precautions Warning on power connections • Use the supplied power cord. If you use a different power cord, be sure that it is compatible with your local power supply. Front of the LCD display MENU INPUT Side view of the LCD display A 1 (Power) switch and 1 (power) indicator (pages 9, 19, 24) To turn the display on or off, press the 1 (power) switch. The power indicator lights up in green when the display is turned on, and lights up in orange when the display is in the power saving mode.

    Customizing Your Monitor Before making adjustments Connect the monitor and the computer, and turn them on. For the best results, wait for at least 30 minutes before making adjustments.     Technical Features Controlling the volume Using the monitor’s speakers or headphones, you can listen to sound from your computer or other audio equipment connected to the monitor’s audio input jacks. You can control the volume by using a separate “Volume” menu from the main menu.

    Setting the MODE (PICTURE/ AUDIO) mode If you press the button on the right side of the monitor repeatedly, you can select the MODE from GAME t MOVIE t PC t AUTO. When you select “AUTO,” the monitor automatically adjusts the screen brightness according to the brightness of the surroundings (Automatic brightness adjustment function).
