3.2 Creating New Group and Gateway

All Gateways on the network are now able to communicate with each other.

6. Setup Wizard (5/6):

Do one of the following:

•

Click the "Use Default Password"

check box to accept the default User

Level Password ("user").

•

Clear the "Use Default Password"

check box, then type and confirm

the new password to change the

default password.

Click [Next >].

7. Setup Wizard (6/6):

Under "Select", click "Option 2".

Under "Reboot access method", click

"RS232C".

Note: Make sure that the RS-232C Cable

cable is connected to the unit.

Click [Finish].

MCS updates the setup information of

the unit. The unit reboot process can

take over a minute to complete.

A new Gateway is created.

8. Repeat steps 1 to 7 (through direct RS-232C

connection) for all Gateways to be added to

the Unit Group.
