    Using the Power Adapter and Charging the Battery Install the battery based on the battery installation steps. Connect one end of the power adapter cable to the FWT and the ot her to the power socket. The battery charging icon is displayed on the screen. The battery charging icon becomes static when the battery is fully charged.

    Wireless mo In standby ode, enter a phon e number. Press to dial the number. Press to end the call. Note: In standby mode, press to view the call history. Sele ct a record and press to dial this number. Select a phone number from Phone Book and press to call this contact.

    Press the Left soft key to reply, del ete, or forward a short message, or call or save the phone number of a message.     Security FWT Lock The FWT lock protects your FWT from unauthorized use. The default FWT lock code is 000000. You can change it into any numeric string of 4 to 8 digits. PIN and PUK The personal identity number (PIN) protects you r R-UIM card from unauthorized use.
  • Page 11 FWT is not used for a long time. Do select its self-contained com plete battery and power adapter; otherwise, the FWT may be spoiled. Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd is not responsible for any consequences caused by using non-standard batteries or power supplies.
