Install an AC or DC Power Supply

To install an AC or DC power supply, follow these steps:
NOTE: The PSU slides into the slot smoothly. Do not force a PSU into a slot as this may damage the PSU or

Task
Take the PSU out of the shipping box.

Use the grab handle to slide the PSU into the power supply bay.

Tighten the securing screw at the top of the PSU.

Attach the power cables.

The system powers up as soon as the cables are connected between the power supply and the power
source.

Replace an AC or DC Power Supply

To replace an AC or DC power supply, follow these steps:
NOTE: The PSU slides into the slot smoothly. Do not force a PSU into a slot as this may damage the PSU or

NOTE: If a PSU fails, you must completely replace it. There are no field servicable components in the PSU.

Disconnect the power cable from the PSU.

Use the grab handle to slide the PSU out of the power supply bay.

Use the grab handle on the replacement PSU to slide it into the power supply bay.

Tighten the securing screws on the replacement PSU with a screwdriver. Ensure that the PSU is secure.

Attach the power cord to the replacement PSU.
