Change of Channels during Emergency

For ALL Emergency transmissions, when changing
channels:
If the new channel is also preprogrammed for
Emergency, you can change channels while in
Emergency operation. The emergency alarm or call
continues on the new channel.
If the new channel is not preprogrammed for
Emergency, the display shows No emergency, and you
hear an invalid tone until you exit the Emergency state
or change to a channel preprogrammed for Emergency.

Emergency Keep-Alive Feature

This feature, when enabled, prevents the radio from being
turned off by using the MFK when the radio is in the
Emergency state.

NOTICE:
The radio only exits the Emergency state using one
of the ways mentioned in the previous sections.

Automatic Registration Service
(ARS)
This feature provides an automated data application

device automatically registers with the server.
Data applications within the fixed network can determine
the presence of a device on the system and send data to
the device.
The ARS for the radio consists of two modes:
ARS Server Mode (default mode)
ARS Non-Server Mode
61,
64, or
Sending a Silent
