5-axis machining package (TRAORI)
In contrast to static transformations (swiveling)
in which the tool is perpendicular to the ma-
chining plane, the 5-axis machining package
TRAORI allows the dynamic coupled motion
of a tool along the workpiece surface. It is
used for 5-axis mold making applications and
in the aviation industry, for example.
