Selecting Une Voltage
The HP 5450lA is a Safety Class 1 instrument (equipped with an exposed
metal chassis that is directly connected to earth via the power supply
cord) that meets IEC Standard 348.
The line voltage selector has been factory set to the line voltage used in
your country. It is a good idea to check the setting of the line voltage
selector and become familiar with what it looks like. If the setting needs
to be changed, do so by the following procedure.
Severe damage will occur if the line voltage is not properly set.
Change the line voltage by pulling the fuse moduie out and reinserting it
with the appropriate arrows aligned.
