Getting started
Connecting the charger improperly may cause serious damage to the Charm
by Samsung. Any damage caused by misuse is not covered by the warranty.
• C hargers are sold separately.
• Wh i le charging, the Charm by Samsung may heat up. This is normal and should
not affect the Samsung Charmy's lifespan or performance. If the battery gets
hotter than usual, the charger may stop charging.
• T h e Charm by Samsung cannot connect to a mobile device while it is charging.
When the Charm by Samsung is fully charged, disconnect it from the charging
dock and then try to connect it to a mobile device.
• I f the Charm by Samsung is not charging properly, take the Charm by Samsung
and the charger to a Samsung Service Centre.

After fully charging, first unplug the charger from the charging dock, and then unplug it
from the electric socket.
• T o save energy, unplug the charger when not in use. The charger does not have a
power switch, so you must unplug the charger from the electric socket when not in
use to avoid wasting power. The charger should remain close to the electric socket
and easily accessible while charging.
• T he socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily
accessible.

Indicator light identification

The indicator light informs you of your Charm by Samsung's status.

If the indicator light does not work as described, disconnect the charger from the
Charm by Samsung and reconnect it.
