PREPARE THE GAS SUPPLY

burners with the hood closed.
2.
Make sure that the control knobs are OFF.
The grease tray must be in place and
pushed all the way to the back.

3.
Turn the gas supply on.
• For portable grills using an L.P./ pro-
pane gas cylinder, slowly open the cyl-
inder valve; do not "snap" open.
NOTE: If the flow limiting device does
activate, the grill may not light. If the grill
does light, the flames will be low, and will
not heat properly. Turn the cylinder valve
and all control knobs OFF, and wait 30
seconds. After shutting off the cylinder,
very slowly open the cylinder valve, and
wait 5 seconds before lighting.
• For grills using a gas supply source
other than an L.P. gas cylinder, turn the
shutoff valve to the "open" position from
the front of gas supply line.
