Playing SD cards
You can play the following types of data recorded on an SD Memory Card:
Still pictures
[PICTURE]
JPEG files taken on digital cameras conforming to DCF
standards (set down by the Japan Electronics and
Information Technology Industries Association).
Moving pictures
[MPEG4]
MPEG4 files (ASF format) taken on a digital video camera
or SD Multi AV Device.
Music
[MUSIC]
MP3 and AAC audio files recorded with "Panasonic Media
Manager" or "SD-Jukebox", software included with
Panasonic SD Multi AV Device and SD Audio Player.
Voice
[VOICE]
G.726 files recorded on a digital video camera or
SD Multi AV Device.
Some files are not compatible with this unit and cannot be played back. For example:
–Moving picture files recorded using a digital still camera with moving picture function
–IC recorder voice files etc

≥To remove, press on the center of the
card to unlock, then pull straight out.

Press and hold [1, ON] to turn
the unit on.
When a source other than SD is
selected
Press [DVD/SD] to select "SD".

1 Use [3, 4] to select the
mode and press [ENTER].

2 Use [3, 4, 2, 1] to select
a file and press [ENTER].

Press [:, 9] to show other
pictures.

Adjust the volume.
Using headphones
Turn down the volume before connection,
and then adjust the level.
To stop and return to the list
Press [∫].
To pause play
Press [;] during play.
Press [1] (Play) to restart play.

To change the mode
Press [TOP MENU] then select the mode.
To turn the unit off
Press and hold [∫, – OFF] until "OFF" appears
on the LCD.
Turning the unit on and off with the remote
control
Press [Í].
≥You cannot use the remote control to turn the
unit on when powered by the battery pack.
Note
≥Menus and pictures may take some time to
appear.
≥When outputting to other equipment:
≥–There is no video output on units for the
United Kingdom, continental Europe,
Australia and N.Z..
≥–The video output is NTSC on units for Asia.
[MUSIC]
If you have attached still pictures to an audio file
(using SD-Jukebox Ver. 3.0) the unit can also
show the first of these pictures.
Do not face the slot towards your face when
inserting and removing cards. The slot
mechanism has a spring so the card may
eject with force.
