General Safety Rules
Read all warning notes and instructions enclosed with
the corkscrew attachment and the power tool being
used. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may
result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
Save all safety warnings and all instructions for future reference.
Safety Notes for Screwdrivers with Corkscrew Attachment
Do not use the corkscrew attachment to uncork bottles with mit
carbonated beverages (e. g. sparkling wine). Due to the excess
pressure in the bottle, the cork can suddenly give way and shoot out.
Danger of injury for the user, bystanders and/or pets through the cork
and possibly escaping liquid.
Always place the bottle being uncorked on a level and stable sur-
face. Both hands are required for proper and safe handling of the
screwdriver with the corkscrew attachment.

Intended Use
In conjunction with the IXO cordless screwdriver, the corkscrew attach-
ment is intended for uncorking corks from wine bottles.
The corkscrew attachment may only be used with the following power
tools:
– Bosch IXO (3 603 J81 0.., 3 603 J59 1.., 3 603 J59 3..,
3 603 JA8 0..)
Do not use the screwdriver with corkscrew together with other at-
tachments.
