    CAUTION: To disconnect a network cable, first unplug the cable from your computer and then unplug the cable from the network device. Disconnect all network cables from the computer. Disconnect your computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets. Press and hold the power button while the computer is unplugged to ground the system board.

    Connect any telephone or network cables to your computer. Connect your computer and all attached devices to their electrical outlets. Turn on your computer. If required, verify that the computer works correctly by running the Dell Diagnostics. Removing the Cover Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.

    Figure 1. Installing the Cover Slide the cover from the back of the computer, until the latches snap-in. Tighten the screws to secure the cover. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer Removing the Front Bezel Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.

    Figure 2. Installing the Front Bezel Hold the bezel and ensure that the hooks on the bezel snap into the notches on the computer. Rotate the front bezel toward the computer. Press the front bezel until the tabs snap in. Install cover.

    DISK C: FAILED INITIALIZATION The hard drive failed initialization. Run the hard drive tests in the Dell Diagnostics. DRIVE NOT READY The operation requires a hard drive in the bay before it can continue. Install a hard drive in the hard drive bay.
